1. About Sunnah Nikaah

Sunnah Nikaah is an Islamic matrimony platform dedicated to providing a safe and respectful space for individuals seeking marriage partners in accordance with the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. We collect only the personal information you voluntarily provide during registration and profile creation, and we use it solely to operate the matchmaking service described on this website.

By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, legally eligible to marry, and that you are using the service for genuine and serious matrimonial purposes only.

2. Why Sunnah Nikaah

  • Members are expected to adhere to Islamic values and etiquette in every interaction on the platform.
  • The platform is reserved for those seeking genuine and serious matrimonial connections — it is not a dating or social-networking service.

3. Creating your profile

  • Provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself; misrepresentation may lead to suspension or removal.
  • Cooperate with our verification processes, including KYC and moderation review, before your profile goes live.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential — you are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Respect the privacy of other members; do not copy, share or misuse information you see on the platform.
  • A wali (guardian) is required for every female profile, and a sister's contact details are shared only through her wali.

4. Match searching

  • Communicate respectfully and within the bounds of halal interaction at all times.
  • Harassment, abusive language, spamming or unsolicited advances are strictly prohibited.
  • We strongly encourage family and parental involvement throughout the process.
  • Conduct your own independent background checks before progressing towards nikaah — Sunnah Nikaah facilitates introductions but cannot guarantee any member's character or circumstances.

5. Important highlights

  • All interactions on the platform must follow halal principles of modesty and respect.
  • Content promoting violence, discrimination, or anything contrary to Islamic values is prohibited and will be removed.
  • Sunnah Nikaah is a matchmaking facilitator only and disclaims liability for decisions taken by members and their families, including any post-marital situations.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, without refund of any membership fees where the breach is material.

6. Do's & don'ts

Do:

  • Be authentic — present yourself truthfully in your profile and conversations.
  • Uphold Islamic values and involve your family and wali early.
  • Take sensible safety precautions when speaking with or meeting a prospective match.
  • Report suspicious profiles or behaviour to our support team immediately.

Don't:

  • Share your own or others' contact details outside the platform's permitted channels.
  • Use the platform for anything other than seeking marriage.
  • Send money to, or accept money from, anyone you meet on the platform.
